Admission Requirements:
Master’s Degree Program Basic Requirements
- Undergraduate Cumulative Grade Point Average:
3.0 or equivalent required
- Graduate Record Examination (GRE):
Minimum Score Required: (before 8/2011) Verbal 400, Quantitative 500, Analytical 4.0
(after 8/2011) Verbal 146, Quantitative 144, Analytical 4.0
- Resume and Purpose Statement
- Three letters of recommendation
- Two sets of official transcripts (photocopies will not be accepted)
- One copy of B.S. diploma
International Applicant Requirements:
- Undergraduate Cumulative Grade Point Average:
3.0 or equivalent required
- Graduate Record Examination (GRE):
Minimum Score Required: (before 8/2011) Verbal 400, Quantitative 500, Analytical 4.0
(after 8/2011) Verbal 146, Quantitative 144, Analytical 4.0
- TOEFL for Non-Native English Speakers:
Minimum Paper-Based Test (PBT) Score Required: 575
Minimum Internet-Based Test (IBT) Overall Score Required: 77
With the following minimum section requirements:
Reading: 19
Listening: 14
Speaking: 18
Writing: 18
- IELTS (Academic Module):
An alternative to the TOEFL, scores of 6.5 or higher will be accepted
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) (Academic Module):
An alternative to the TOEFL, scores of 58 or higher will be accepted
- TWE for Non-Native English Speakers:
Required – minimum score of greater than or equal to 5.0. If iBT is taken, TWE is not required.
- Resume and Purpose Statement
- Three letters of recommendation
- Official transcripts (Photocopies or attested copies will not be accepted)
- Two sets in the language of instruction and
- Two sets translated in English
- Two copies of B.S. diploma. One set should be in the language of instruction and the other in English.
Doctoral Degree Program Basic Requirements

- Resume and Purpose Statement indicating direct Ph.D from Bachelor’s Degree consideration
- Three letters of recommendation indicating direct Ph.D from Bachelor’s Degree consideration
