Requirements for the Minor (15 credits)
A. Core Courses (9 credits)
B. Modern Dance Technique - Choose Two (4 credits)
C. Dance Movement - Choose One (2 credits)
Notes
- 50% of credits for CLA minors must come from Purdue University.
- Once a student declares a Minor in Dance, it is strongly recommended that the student continues to enroll in a modern DANC technique course each semester.
- DANC 30100 - Technical assessment by the dance faculty will determine the student’s class placement. Students must attain level III in Modern Dance Technique in order to complete the dance minor.
- DANC 24500 - (corequisite in any level II or III, DANC technique class required, BY AUDITION ONLY)
