Overview
Purdue Libraries and School of Information Studies is a non-degree granting department that offers innovative graduate and undergraduate courses and certificates on several different information-focused topics.
Purdue Libraries and School of Information Studies offers both graduate and undergraduate courses in fields such as information and data literacy, digital humanities and geographic information systems, systematic reviews, digital citizenship and information ethics, and foundational concepts in undergraduate research. ILS courses may meet elective, core curriculum, or certificate requirements for your major and other programs.
Purdue Libraries and School of Information Studies offers two graduate certificates: Digital Humanities, co-sponsored by the College of Liberal Arts, and Geographic Information Science, in collaboration with seven colleges at Purdue University. We also co-sponsor an undergraduate Digital Humanities Certificate with the College of Liberal Arts.
