Learning Outcomes 1. Comprehend the complexity of the forests worldwide and understand their variety, distribution, ecological functioning, and role in developing societies and communities. 2. Provide a global perspective of forests' social and economic values, their multiple uses, and the variety of products derived from them. 3. Understand the most critical factors threatening forests and related natural resources in developing and developed countries. 4.
