Credit Hours: 3.00. A survey class on earthquakes and volcanoes. Topics include earthquake hazards and forecasting, the use of seismic waves to investigate the earth’s interior, volcanoes and tectonics, volcanic hazards, and the influence of volcanoes on climate.
