BME 30400 - Biomedical Transport Fundamentals

Credit Hours: 3.00.  Fundamental concepts and principles of momentum, heat, and mass transport phenomena in the context of biomedical applications. Integrated biological topics include transport of physiological fluids (e.g. blood), mass transport (e.g. oxygen and nutrients), forced convection (e.g. hemodialysis) and unsteady-state molecular diffusion (e.g. drug delivery mechanisms).
