PHYS 30700 - Mathematical Methods Of Physics II

Credit Hours: 3.00.  Discussion of wide-ranging physics problems from mechanics, E&M, thermal, and modern physics with emphasis on reviews and introductions of mathematical methods and techniques that are essential in such discussion. Relevant mathematical methods include vectors, matrices and normal modes as well as ordinary and partial differential equations. Intended primarily for sophomore physics majors. Typically offered Fall Spring.Credits: 3.00
