MSE 52700 - Introduction To Biomaterials

Credit Hours: 3.00. This course aims to introduce students to Biomaterials concepts: structure, properties, and applications. The class will cover the main classes of materials: metals, ceramics and polymers in the context of their use in medicine as implant materials, drug delivery vehicles, and as tissue engineering scaffolds.
