ENGL 22600 - Narrative Medicine Credit Hours: 3.00. “Narrative Medicine” encompasses stories about the interior lives of doctors and medical professionals, the complexities of medicine past and present, and health-care for patients and their families. Ultimately, this course emphasizes the essential role of rhetoric and storytelling in the face of medical crisis and uses stories about illness and disability to explore the human condition.
