HDFS 20100 - Introduction To Relationship And Family Science (UCC: BSS)


Credit Hours: 3.00.  An examination of interpersonal processes involved in forming and maintaining quality relationships with family members and close others. Emphasis is on relationship dynamics and family functioning across the life course. Also considered are linkages between relationship and family processes and the broader social environment. Basic components of the research process will be introduced.

2. Recognize the diversity of relationships and families in our society.
