MGMT 66400 - Supply Chain Management Credit Hours: 2.00 to 4.00. Continues the examination of the linkage between a firm’s product-market strategy and the role of the operations (i.e., production) function initiated in MGMT 660. Topics include material requirements planning, production activity control, and just-in-time systems. Prerequisite: MGMT 66000. Learning Outcomes 1. Learn tools and methodologies to model and analyze supply chain processes.
2. Learn how to manage uncertainty and risk, both within the firm and across the supply chain.
3. Learn how to effectively coordinate supply chains using contracts.
4. Understand how companies have used the principles from this course to significantly enhance their competitiveness and to innovate business models. Credits: 2.00 to 4.00
