ENGR 49700 - Global Engineering Capstone


Credit Hours: 1.00.  Forum for students returning from international internship and/or study abroad experience. Students will explore personal development resulting from the international experience as it relates to changes in world-view, understanding of culture, interpersonal skills and career aspirations. They will learn to highlight international experiences on resumes and in interviews. Students will apply and share their cultural knowledge through structured activities and summarize their entire global experience through a poster presentation. To be taken in semester following international internship/study abroad experience. Permission of instructor is required.  
Learning Outcomes
1. Identify skills gained through the international experience.
2. Able to highlight experiences on resumes and in interviews.
3. Apply skills to current and future inter-cultural situations and develop a strong ethical framework and cultural sensitivity to succeed in a global workplace.
