STAT 10100 - Freshman Orientation Seminar Credit Hours: 1.00. A one-credit course for first-year Statistics/Mathematics majors designed to develop concepts and skills in team building, time management, and professional development that complement the students’ academic and research training. Talks from a broad range of speakers are included. Learning Outcomes 1. Demonstrate the ability to communicate with peers & speakers in classroom.
2. Demonstrate the ability to locate and use academic success resources.
3. Demonstrate understanding of time management and study skills.
