TECH 62900 - Global Supply Chain Analysis & Optimization

Credit Hours: 3.00.  This course will provide an overview to supply chain management including history of supply chain, elements of supply chain, interactions of supply chain elements, and factors that impact supply chain success. 
Learning Outcomes
1. Identify supply chain organizations and current trends in supply chain.
2. Demonstrate the demand planning elements of a product lifecycle and how to compute material requirements planning explosions.
3. Calculate forecasts using different approaches such as moving average and weighted moving average.
4. Offer critiqued solutions for impact to supply chain effectiveness.
5. Design a supply chain performance management system.
