TECH 63200 - Demographic Leadership Credit Hours: 3.00. This course addresses the major underlying changes redefining the United States. It directly yet sensitively examines how we as individuals can more readily deal with demographic shifts, and in the end, how changes in racial and ethnic diversity and age distribution present us all an opportunity to be our better selves. Permission of department required. Learning Outcomes 1. Students will be able to synthesize and report on the ability to differentiate, question and analyze the changing demographics of our society and support or question conclusions.
2. Students will have the ability to synthesize, interpret and report on the concepts of unconscious/implicit bias. Additionally, the student will demonstrate proficiency in methodology in evaluating studies on this concept to create informed decisions.
3. Students will be able to critically assess demographic data and trends to formulate strategies for better decision making. Credits: 3.00
