MGMT 57500 - Supply Chain Technology
Credit Hours: 2.00. This course will emphasize the use of supply chain technology for planning and control of dynamic manufacturing systems. This requires the simulation of plans and required changes over time. Therefore, the course will revolve around active learning computer simulations in SAP.
Learning Outcomes
1. Execute end-to-end business scenarios, including Procure-to-Pay, Forecast to Delivery, and Order to Cash, in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
2. Choose among several planning methods and develop initial parameters based on supply chain and production capabilities and market intelligence.
3. Modify system parameters as necessary to address events such as material shortages, lack of cash flow, changes in supply availability, and market changes.
4. Access and analyze operational data from the ERP system.
5. Design a manufacturing planning and control strategy to maximize company value.
