ACCT 63450 - Financial Statement Analysis And Valuation

Credit Hours: 2.00 or 3.00.  This course is designed to prepare students to become intelligent financial statement users. Understanding how market participants use financial statements will assist professionals in their primary tasks of creating and communicating financial information to these individuals. 
Learning Outcomes
1. Identify certain adjustments that are required by financial analysts when assessing firms. 2. Demonstrate an adequate understanding of complex financial statement analysis and valuations procedures. 3. Develop reports that discuss the adjustments necessary to provide an accurate assessment of firms’ income-generating abilities, as well as reports that encompass various valuation techniques commonly used in practice.
