SCOM 57500 - Supply Chain Technology

Credit Hours: 2.00.  This course will teach students how to use machine learning tools and enterprise resource planning (ERP) for supply chain management. The course will therefore center around active learning in SAS and SAP.
Learning Outcomes
1.  Create and evaluate machine learning models to forecast both continuous and categorical data. 2.  Execute end-to-end business processes including Procure-to-Pay, Forecast-to-Delivery, and Order-to-Cash, using automated workflows in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. 3.  Modify ERP system parameters to respond to operational events such as material shortages, cash flow limitations, supply disruptions, and market changes. 4.  Access, analyze, and interpret operational data from the ERP system to support decision-making.
