OBHR 65480 - Total Rewards

Credit Hours: 2.00.  This course examines how organizations can optimize financial and relational returns to gain and sustain a competitive advantage in a global environment. We will use theory and cases to develop a sound understanding of the compensation system.  
Learning Outcomes
1. Understand compensation systems and how they can be a catalyst for change and to help organizations execute their business strategies. 2. Know how to attract, engage, and retain top talent effectively. 3. Apply practical management tools for sustaining competitive advantage. 4. Develop technical compensation skills to design pay structures and market pricing systems. 5. Comprehend the importance of rational returns for employees and the role it plays in employee development.
