This course examines women’s experiences and constructions of femininity in Europe from 1789 to the present, including women in revolutions, state intervention in the family, changing ideas of sexuality, women’s movements, women in socialism and fascism, and women in war. This is the writing intensive version of HIST 32900. Typically offered Fall Spring.
