Credit Hours: 3.00. Principles and theories of healthcare economics applied in analysis of the U.S. healthcare system. Perspectives are presented on the differential roles of economic analysis and policy analysis. Topics include medical care as an input to health, pharmaceutical service market, adequacy of health manpower supply, health associations and demand for legislation.
