AT 35700 - High-Altitude Operation Credit Hours: 1.00. This course is designed to acquaint and orient the student to the operation of, and effects on, light aircraft at high elevation airports during an intensive, two-week instructional session. In addition, the course is intended to familiarize the student with mountain flying techniques during cross-country flights. FAA Private Pilot Certificate required. Permission of department required. Typically offered Fall Spring Summer.
