NUR 56300 - Oncology Screening And Health Promotion

Credit Hours: 3.00. This course examines screening and surveillance for the prevention and control of cancer. Emphasis is placed on gaining theoretical knowledge to support the evaluation of clients with a past, current, or potential diagnosis of cancer. Focus is on the holistic approach to care using state-of-the-art interventions that provide effective risk assessment, disease surveillance, health education and health promotion.
