Requirements for the Minor (15 credits)

A. Core Courses (minimum 9 credits)

DANC 14000 - Dance Improvisation
DANC 14400 - Contact Improvisation
DANC 24500 - Practicum In Dance Performance And Production *
DANC 25000 - Dance Appreciation
DANC 34500 - Choreography
DANC 34600 - Intermediate Choreography

B. Modern Dance Technique - Choose Two (4 credits)

DANC 10100 - Modern Dance Technique I
DANC 20100 - Modern Dance Technique II - repeatable up to 6 credits
DANC 30100 - Modern Dance Techniques III - repeatable up to 6 credits (see notes)

C. Dance Movement - Choose One (2 credits)

DANC 23000 - Biomechanics Of Dance, Movement and Strength

Notes

50% of credits for CLA minors must come from Purdue University.
Once a student declares a Minor in Dance, it is strongly recommended that the student continues to enroll in a modern DANC technique course each semester.
* DANC 24500 - (corequisite in any DANC technique class required, by audition only)
