Note: CGT,CNIT,CS and ECE are considered computing minors and are not available as interdisciplinary selectives.

Note: If some minor courses fulfill other departmental requirements, additional courses will be required to satisfy the 15 interdisciplinary credit hours:

Professional IT Experience Requirement

(Complete one of the following options)

• Professional IT internship (six week minimum duration)
• 240 hours of IT employment
• 240 hours of documented volunteer IT work

*A  three page reflection paper on what you learned from your experience is required for all options - submit to CIT-Prof-IT@purdue.edu

• CNIT 39000 - Supervised Practicum
• Service Learning Course (EPCS, CNIT 39000, or Equivalent) with responsibility for an IT component (3 credit hours minimum)

Globalization Requirement

The globalization requirement will be met by successful completion of CNIT 32000.
