Major Change (CODO) Requirements

Students will need to meet the criteria below to be eligible for this major. A student’s catalog term, typically the semester you started at Purdue, will be used to determine the Major Change criteria that applies to you. • Electrical Engineering, BSEE  (ECEB)

General Requirements

• Minimum Semesters: 2
• Minimum Credits: 12
• Minimum GPA: 3.0

Course Requirements

• 3.0 GPA or better AND C- or better in the following:

• CHM 11500 - General Chemistry
• PHYS 17200 - Modern Mechanics

•  

• BIOL 11000 - Fundamentals Of Biology I or
• CHM 11600 - General Chemistry or
• CS 15900 - C Programming

•  

• MA 16100 - Plane Analytic Geometry And Calculus I or
• MA 16500 - Analytic Geometry And Calculus I

•  

• MA 16200 - Plane Analytic Geometry And Calculus II or
• MA 16600 - Analytic Geometry And Calculus II

•  

• C- or better in the following:

• Oral Communication Foundational Outcome course (typically COM 11400 - Fundamentals Of Speech Communication )
• Written Communication Foundational Outcome course (typically ENGL 10600 - First-Year Composition )

Other Requirements

• Students are accepted for FALL and SPRING.
• Students are admitted on a SPACE AVAILABLE BASIS ONLY. Space is extremely limited.
• Students must be in good academic standing (not on academic probation).
