Major Change (CODO) Requirements

Students will need to meet the criteria below to be eligible for this major. A student’s catalog term, typically the semester you started at Purdue, will be used to determine the Major Change criteria that applies to you. • Computing Infrastructure and Network Engineering Technology, BS    (NENT)
• Data Analytics, Technologies, and Applications, BS  (DATA)
• Systems Analysis and Design, BS   (SAAD)

General Requirements

• Minimum Semesters:  1
• Minimum Credits:  3
• Minimum GPA:  3.0

Course Requirements

C- or better in the following:

• CNIT 17600 - Information Technology Architectures or
• CNIT 18000 - Introduction To Systems Development
• Note: Must be taken at Purdue West Lafayette or Polytechnic Statewide sites: Anderson, Columbus or Kokomo.

• ENGL 10600 - First-Year Composition or
• ENGL 10800 - Accelerated First-Year Composition or
• ENGL 11000 - American Language And Culture For International Students I or
• SCLA 10100 - Transformative Texts, Critical Thinking And Communication I: Antiquity To Modernity

• COM 11400 - Fundamentals Of Speech Communication or
• SCLA 10200 - Transformative Texts, Critical Thinking And Communication II: Modern World

• MA 16010 - Applied Calculus I or
• MA 16100 - Plane Analytic Geometry And Calculus I or
• MA 16500 - Analytic Geometry And Calculus I

Other Requirements

• Students are accepted for FALL, SPRING, and SUMMER
• Students are admitted on a SPACE AVAILABLE BASIS ONLY after a holistic review. Space is limited.
• Students must be in good academic standing (not on academic probation)
