About the ProgramThe Certificate in Theatre Lighting provides non-majors lighting-specific opportunities that are not available in the broader Minor in Design and Production. It concentrates on the design and technology aspects of this rapidly developing field in combination with hands-on experiences both in and out of the classroom. Classes and production experiences utilize state-of-the-art labs and equipment in the creation of live entertainment designs. College of Liberal Arts

Requirements for the Certificate (16 credits)
Foundation Studies: Required Courses (13 credits)
Additional Production Courses (3 credits)
(Courses can be repeated for a minimum of 3 credits.) Notes
- This Certificate is not available to Theatre majors.
- At least 50 % of credits for the CLA certificate must be from Purdue University.
- Graduation GPA of 2.0 required for Certificate.
College of Liberal Arts Pass/No Pass Option Policy
- P/NP cannot be used to satisfy Liberal Arts Core, Liberal Arts major, minor, or certificate requirements.
