About the Program


Organizations rely on data now more than ever, and they need individuals with a passion for drawing insights from data to advise on strategy, product and process improvement.

The Mitch Daniels School of Business’ Master of Science in Business Analytics and Information Management (MSBAIM) program equips students with the knowledge to effectively deploy state-of-the-art information technologies and analytical techniques and communicate findings in a professional manner. The program’s rigorous 36-credit hour STEM-designated curriculum and real-world application through experiential learning will develop students’ proficiencies with Python, SAS, SQL, R, Hadoop, Minitab, Gurobi and various big data technologies.

Students can take any 500/600level courses offered by the Mitch Daniels School of Business (such as MGMT, OBHR, or ECON) and that are not MIS or QM classes. The courses must be business focused, not analytical. If the course has “analytics” in the course name, it will not count as Business Foundations Electives. Students can also take 500/600-level courses outside the School of Business such as Computer Science, Engineering, etc.
