About the Program

For Graduate students who wish to earn a separate certification in addition to the Master of Science degree in Aviation and Aerospace Management (MSAAM), Purdue University’s Polytechnic Institute offers either a residential or fully online Aviation Financial Management Graduate Certificate. This four-course certificate provides a strong foundation in principles of aviation financial management, and credits may be transferred to the master’s program.

The US Department of Labor projects that job growth within the aviation field will increase by 8% through 2024. Financial performance and efficiency are key to the future successes of airlines and other aviation industries. The graduate certificate in Aviation Financial Management prepares aviation professionals to evaluate financial operations within workplaces, develop strategies for maximizing revenue, proactively manage aviation capital assets, and effectively use financial tools to manage risk.
