The Human Resource Development (HRD) Graduate Certificate is designed to meet the needs of professionals seeking to enhance their knowledge and skills in the field of human resources. If students opt to continue in the Master’s program, the courses in the certificate program may be credited to the MS in Technology Leadership and Innovation.

Program Learning Outcomes


Students will:

  • Demonstrate understanding of HRD theories by aligning HRD initiatives with organizational goals through project-based assignments, like training program design or strategy development.
  • Develop leadership skills in communication and decision-making and manage organizational change using real-world case studies.
  • Design evaluation metrics to assess HRD program impact, ensuring ethical and legal compliance in areas like diversity, inclusion and confidentiality.
