About the Program


AI Management and Policy majors will be prepared to work in dynamic, exciting careers at the intersection of AI, governance, policy and management. No programming or coding background is necessary for this major. Students can get their career started by working in one of the following roles: IT Director, Business Analyst, Product Manager, Financial Analyst, Cybersecurity Analyst, IT Consultant, Business, Intelligence Analyst, Operations Research Analyst, Database Administrator and more.

Major Courses (8 credits)


Students must take GRAD 50300 and select two or more courses, at least one from each topic, listed below.

Selectives (9 credits)


Choose three or more courses to fulfill this requirement. Students may also select courses from the Major Courses lists if not previously completed.

Electives (3 credits)


Students may select a course from one of the above categories or choose any graduate level course to fulfill remaining credit requirements, subject to the approval of their advisor.

Students will:

  • Build professional skills in AI by completing hands-on projects with real-world applications  
  • Gain expertise in in-demand areas like data analytics, computer science, change management, project management and more. 
  • Be prepared for a career in technology or learn to incorporate AI skills into their current role.
