Quantum Science Minor

About the Minor
Quantum science is a vibrant new field with applications to many areas of science and technology. This minor will provide students with the fundamentals of quantum phenomena, quantum principles, and quantum information that will complement their primary major with a strong quantum core. It will get the student into quantum early in the sophomore year and includes a lab with hands-on experiments. Coursework includes entanglement, qubits, the fundamental postulates of quantum mechanics, and a solid introduction to quantum computing.
A minor especially for undergraduates in science and engineering.

- A student must earn a GPA of 2.0 or higher across all required minor courses.
- All required courses for this minor must be taken at Purdue University.
