About the Program
Organizations rely on data now more than ever, and they need individuals with a passion for drawing insights from data to advise on strategy, product and process improvement. The Mitch Daniels School of Buisness’ Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program equips students with the knowledge to effectively deploy state-of-the-art information technologies and analytical techniques and communicate findings in a professional manner. The program’s rigorous 30-credit hour, fully online coursework is designed to grow students’ analytics proficiencies and application prowess with training in the most relevant big data technologies. The rigorous curriculum, which is designed by the top-notch faculty of the Mitch Daniels School of Business, develops students’ analytical business acumen and technological expertise and empowers graduates to establish, lead and grow prominent organizations. General Business Selectives (5 credits)
Choose courses to fulfill 5 credits. Business Analytics Selectives (10 credits)
Choose courses to fulfill 10 credits. Electives (4 credits)
Students may choose elective courses to suit their individual interests. They may use as free electives any 500/600-level MGMT, ECON, or OBHR courses that they have not used for filling other requirements. Restrictive electives may also be counted as free electives. Students can also take 1-credit “Essential” versions of some of the General Business Electives (ex: Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Strategy).
