About the Program
The 21st century will continue to bring changes in how an actor goes about making a career. The fully redesigned MFA in Acting at Purdue University will focus on developing individualized creative process alongside a foundation in acting, movement, voice, pedagogy, and theory - to develop students’ voices as creators as well as skillsets as an actor. The program is designed to help students gain tools that allow them to adapt as industry models continue to shift. Program Website Program Requirements

Students must register for THTR 669 for a Tutorial Internship in the Fall of their 3rd year. Terminal Project Course (6 credits)
MFA students must register for THTR 697 in the Fall and Spring of their 3rd year and complete a terminal project. GPA Requirements
Only 6 credit hours of courses below the 500 level, and within the Department of Visual and Performing Arts, can be counted toward the 60 credit hour minimum. Graduate Programs Disclaimer
