About the Minor
The Themed Entertainment Design minor supports the missions of the department by fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and hands-on learning. This minor emphasizes the integration of creative design and advanced technology to produce immersive and interactive environments, preparing students for careers in the themed entertainment industry. The minor also fosters interdisciplinary learning through collaboration across majors which is a hallmark of Purdue Polytechnic’s distinctive approach to education. The minor will allow students from across the Purdue University the opportunity to engage in the Themed Entertainment and Attractions industry. Requirements for the Minor (15 credits)

Learning Outcomes
- Articulate the common points in history that contributed to the development of experiences
- Be able to identify the process more holistically (designers understanding operations, technicians understanding design, etc)
- Articulate the process of planning a project
- Identify current industry resources and networking opportunities
