Project Management, Post-Baccalaureate Certificate

About the Program


Purdue Polytechnic Institute’s Project Management Graduate Certificate is designed to equip students with essential skills for success in leading dynamic, complex projects. Through hands-on learning and team-based activities, students will master key project management techniques aligned with the Project Management Institute’s Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) standards. Additionally, students will gain practical experience as they learn about the project life cycle, develop effective deliverables, and assess project performance all while building a strong foundation in best practices.

Students will:

  • Demonstrate an understanding of various leadership theories, models, and concepts.
  • Develop strategic thinking skills and the ability to formulate and implement organizational strategies.
  • Create project schedules, identify critical path activities, and develop strategies for managing project timelines and deadlines.
  • Establish quality standards, implement quality assurance processes, and conduct quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet stakeholder expectations.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
