About the Program


Students in the online concentration for the Curriculum and Instruction MSED will learn to teach high-quality language and content-area instruction for learners of English as an additional language. Graduates of the program will learn to maximize the role they play in the curriculum life cycle and develop students who thrive in the classroom and love to learn.

Required Courses (26 credits)


ELL Courses (15 credits)


The ELL concentration consists of 5 courses that address the specific curriculum needs of students who are learning English as an additional language in the U.S. and around the world. Each course also requires students to complete field experiences in a K-12 classroom that enrolls English Language Learners.
