About the Program


With the Daniels School of Business’ one-year MBA, students can develop the analytical, strategic, and problem-solving expertise they will need to lead teams and organizations. Students will learn how dynamic global environments are transforming modern business, and gain the management skills to tackle new challenges, drive change and inspire others. They’ll experience an AACSB-accredited, curriculum that empowers to ask the right questions while turning data into knowledge. Elective courses allow program customization to students’ interests and career objectives. Electives can include suggested specializations and Graduate Certificates. This program is STEM-designated. Students have the option to do a co-op, which will extend the program length to 18 months.

Required Courses (27 credits)


STEM Selectives (5 credits)


Students may take any 500+ level course in ECON, MIS, QM, or SCOM or any of the courses listed below to fulfill the STEM credit requirement. STEM courses offered by other college at Purdue require approval of the Academic Director.

Business Electives (9-10 credits)


Students may take any 500+ level course in ACCT, DSB, ECON, FIN, MIS, MKTG, QM, STRT, or SCOM to fulfill business elective credits.

Capstone Project (2-3 credits)


Students will work with a team to assume cross-functional roles to broaden leadership skills and make strategic business decisions under pressure in a simulated real-life scenario. Students will use data analytics to assess risk management from qualitative and quantitative perspectives.

The program requires a GPA of 3.0 to graduate.
