Real-time Computer Graphics Programming, Post-Baccalaureate Certificate

About the Program


The Real-time Computer Graphics Programming Certificate will prepare students to work in industries involved in interactive 3D graphics, such as games, animation, and data visualization. This certificate provides in-depth understanding of programmable graphics hardware, real-time computer graphics APIs, data structures, geometric modeling, texturing, image processing, and the techniques used to efficiently simulate physical phenomena on the graphics processing unit (GPU). These courses also provide essential knowledge for developing virtual and augmented reality applications.

Students will:

  • Demonstrate a working knowledge and comprehension of the most recent significant research and technology advances in real-time graphics.
