About the Concentraton

The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Concentration for BSCmpE students provides a grounding in the fundamental concepts underlying modern AI and Machine Learning approaches and systems. It covers both the mathematical background as well as programming, and allows students to branch out and draw on courses across the spectrum of AI and ML topics.

Note

Students are encouraged to speak with their ECE advisor on any ECE experimental, EPCS, VIP and ECE 49600 courses toward this concentration. If using EPCS/VIP/ECE 49600, student must have approval of the Associate Head of Undergraduate Programs or Associate Head of Teaching and Learning no later than the end of week two of the semester it is taken. Additionally, only 3 credits can be used of EPCS/VIP/ECE 49600 toward the Selective Requirement.
