Special Education Concentration for Education (Specialty Pathway)

About the Program

The Special Education concentration includes specialized coursework and field experiences in working with a specific population of K-12 students and enhances the overall preparation of Purdue teacher education students.

Required Courses (9 credits)

All concentration courses are calculated into the 2.5 Overall Teacher Education GPA requirement with no grade lower than a “C”. This concentration does not lead to additional licensure in Indiana.
