Sports Medicine Concentration for Kinesiology

About the Concentration

The Sports Medicine Concentration is a 22-credit optional concentration for students in the Kinesiology major within the Department of Health and Kinesiology.  The concentration provides foundational knowledge and experiences for individuals interested in pursuing graduate study in Sports Medicine.  Coursework in professional standards, operations, and basic sciences are included with practical observation and supervised experiences to help expose students to the profession.

• HK 30200 - Applied Clinical Anatomy Credit Hours: 3.00 (satisfies Kinesiology selective)
• HK 30800 - Athletic Health Care Credit Hours: 3.00 (satisfies Kinesiology selective)
• HK 40900 - Seminar In Sports Medicine Credit Hours: 3.00 (satisfies Kinesiology selective)
• HSCI 13100 - Introduction To Medical Terminology Credit Hours: 3.00
