About this Certificate
The World Food Cultures Certificate provides students with an understanding of the central role of food in the human experience. The goal of the certificate is to offer students a variety of perspectives on food that will include topics including but not limited to, national identities, nutrition, environmental impact, health, and other humanistic and scientific approaches to the field of food studies. This certificate addresses the need to prepare students in areas such as Agriculture, Health, Business, Science, and Engineering, among others, to be globally competent and culturally aware citizens and professionals.
