About the Program
This specialized degree is designed to increase professional development by mastering strategic technologies that change the terms of strategic and great power competition. Strategy in Security and Defense Technologies empowers Department of Defense (hereafter DoD) professionals to master the realm of various security technologies including cyber, space, AI, and autonomous defense technologies. This degree is designed to serve active-duty military and civilian personnel, answering the Nation’s call to develop the next generation of Defense Technology Strategists. The MS in Strategy in Security and Defense Technologies will train leaders to strategically understand, shape, and use defense technologies. Learners will learn to analyze and employ strategy, analysis, communications and systems solutions in multiple domains (land, maritime, air, space, and cyberspace) from a policy and social sciences perspective. Students will also become fluent in data-driven, practical work in national defense and strategic military planning. This program combines history, strategy, social, military, and data sciences with engineering and technology in an applied manner. Program Website Program Requirements

Program Learning Outcomes
Students will: - Be able to strategically analyze, understand, shape, communicate about, and effectively apply defense technology strategies.
- Learn to synthesize defense technologies strategies in multiple domains (land, maritime, air, space, and cyberspace) from a policy, technology, and social sciences perspective.
- Develop competencies in: strategic thinking on systems and defense technology; critical analysis of situations using data; and ethical problem solving in the domains of strategic security, national defense, homeland security, and international humanitarian efforts.
