About the Concentration
Systems software is a type of software designed to manage and control the hardware components of a computer or other devices, providing a foundation for application software to run. Unlike application software, which is designed to perform specific tasks for users (like word processors, web browsers, etc.), systems software serves as an intermediary between hardware and application software. Its primary function is to ensure the smooth operation of the hardware and to provide essential services for application software. Concentration Requirements
