About the Concentration
The Learning Technologies Concentration equips students with the knowledge and applied skills needed to design, develop, and evaluate learning experiences in technology-enabled environments. Grounded in learning science, motivation theory, and digital content development, this concentration strengthens students’ ability to translate organizational learning goals into engaging, accessible, and scalable instructional solutions.
Students explore how people learn, what drives motivation and engagement, and how digital tools-such as multimedia, interactive content, animation, and game-based learning-can enhance knowledge transfer and performance outcomes. Emphasis is placed on the design and representation of learning experiences across digital platforms, ensuring that training solutions align with workplace needs and measurable performance improvement.
This concentration supports students interested in modern talent development, instructional innovation, and the strategic use of technology to enhance workforce capability.
