ME 56802 - Ceramic Materials

Credit Hours: 3.00.  Fundamental concepts of ceramic materials. Atomic structure, bonding the transport of charged defects and their relationships to conductivity in ceramics, phase diagrams and glasses. Solid state processes, including sintering and grain growth. Physical properties including mechanical, thermal, magnetic, dielectric, and optical properties.
