Requirements for the Minor (15 credits)
A. Chinese Language (6 credits)
B. Chinese Literature (3 credits)
C. Chinese Electives (6 credits)
Courses used to fulfill requirements for categories A or B cannot be used to meet requirements for category C. Notes
- 50% of credits for CLA minors must come from Purdue University
- Before undertaking this minor, the student must establish proficiency equivalent to Chinese Level IV. Proficiency may be established by taking and passing CHNS 20200 CHNS 22400 - Chinese Level IV Business Chinese , by examination, or by other evidence acceptable to the Department.
- Courses taken within the minor must have an average grade of “B” (3.0/4) or above. No course with a grade lower than “C” may count toward the minor.
- The P/NP option is not available to compete this requirement.
