Requirements for the Minor (18 credits)
A. Core Courses (4 credits)
Select 2 of the 3 courses below for a minimum of 4 total credits.
B. Dance History (3 credits)
Select one. C. Choreography (3 credits)
Select 1-2 courses; total credits must equal minimum of 3. D. Modern Dance Technique (4 credits)
Select two. E. Dance Technique courses (4 credits)
Select two. Total credits must equal minimum of 4 credits. Notes
- 50% of credits for CLA minors must come from Purdue University.
- Once a student declares a Minor in Dance, it is strongly recommended that the student continues to enroll in a modern DANC technique course each semester.
- * DANC 24500 - (corequisite in any DANC technique class required, by audition only)
College of Liberal Arts Pass/No Pass Option Policy
- P/NP cannot be used to satisfy Liberal Arts Core, Liberal Arts major, minor, or certificate requirements.
